چکیده
With the extreme changes of global climate, winter freezing injury has become an important limiting factor for development grape industry. Therefore, there is a significant need screening cold-resistant wine germplasms and cold regionalization breeding grapevine cultivation in regions. In this study, low-temperature half-lethal temperature (LT50) values were determined annual dormant branches 124 (V. vinifera) to evaluate their resistance. The LT50 tested ranged from ?22.01 °C ?13.18 °C, with six below ?20 °C. Based on values, clustered into four types, resistance strong weak order type ? > ? ? ?, corresponding hardiness zones. Zones 1, 2, 3, 4 included 6, 22, 68, 28 germplasms, respectively, decreasing number different zones followed normal distribution, most zone 3. Type ?, fruit skin color was positively correlated hardiness, while origin negatively hardiness. average regions ?17.44 ?16.26 differences among some analysis resulted distribution China region A (?22 ? °C), 30 B (?20°C ?18°C), 71 C (?18 ?15 17 D (?15 ?13 °C). Strong identified, these could be used as parental material breeding. areas China, soil-burial over-wintering strategies are used, but our results suggest that grapes cultivated without requiring burial during overwintering. study should provide guidance selection promising strains expanded improved varieties production China.

Polyphenolic Contents and Antioxidant Properties of Different Grape (V. vinifera, V. labrusca, and V. hybrid) Cultivars
The polyphenolic contents and the antioxidant activity of the skins and pulps of different grape cultivars were estimated using HPLC and DPPH antioxidant assay, respectively. The phenolics and flavonoids identified were quercetin, kaempferol, caffeic acid, p-coumaric acid, cinnamic acid, and (-)-epicatechin. The total phenolic contents were found to be the highest in the grape skin of Flouxa (>...

The relationships between variations in grapevine (Vitis vinifera L. cv. Pinot noir) growth and resulting fruit and wine phenolic composition were investigated. The study was conducted in a commercial vineyard consisting of the same clone, rootstock, age, and vineyard management practices. The experimental design involved monitoring soil, vine growth, yield components, and fruit composition (so...

Impacts of Grapevine Leafroll Disease on Fruit Yield and Grape and Wine Chemistry in a Wine Grape (Vitis vinifera L.) Cultivar.
Grapevine leafroll disease (GLD) is an economically important virus disease affecting wine grapes (Vitis vinifera L.), but little is known about its effect on wine chemistry and sensory composition of wines. In this study, impacts of GLD on fruit yield, berry quality and wine chemistry and sensory features were investigated in a red wine grape cultivar planted in a commercial vineyard. Own-root...
